Slow Read on your phone
Add Slow Read to your home screen and it opens like an app: full screen, with its own icon. No app store, nothing to download or update.
You are already using Slow Read as an app.
Slow Read on your home screen, beside your other apps.
Open this page on your phone to install Slow Read there.
iPhone and iPad
- Open slowread.co in Safari (on iOS 16.4 or later, Chrome and Edge work too).
- Tap Share : at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, at the top on iPad.
- Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Keep the name Slow Read and tap “Add”.
On iPhone and iPad the installed app keeps its own reading list, separate from Safari's: pieces you saved or marked read in Safari do not carry over.
Android
- Open slowread.co in Chrome.
- Tap the menu at the top right.
- Tap “Add to home screen”, then “Install” (or “Install app”).
- Confirm. On Samsung Internet: menu, then “Add page to”, then “Home screen”.
To remove it, press and hold the icon and choose Remove, like any app.
